We're giving day nine of our A to Z series to our former and current players who have had the honour of representing their countries in competitive action, I is for international players.
Two Curzon players have been lucky enough to be chosen to represent England's C side, receiving plaudits for their performances within the non-league pyramid. Recently goalkeeper and fan favourite Cam Mason received his call-up to the squad, but the chance of a debut against Wales in March was squandered by the outbreak of Coronavirus.
While former player, manager and current football development officer, Mark Bradshaw made one appearance for England C in 1998. Midfielder Nicky Wroe also made two appearances in a three lions shirt eleven years ago, back in 2009.
Striker Callum Saunders, who joined the club from Nantwich Town last summer, has made four appearances for Wales across U19 and U21 level.
Outside of Europe, the Nash have had players represent multiple African nations, and most recently former defender, Mohamud Ali turned out for Somalia during their World Cup qualifiers and has now registered seven appearances for the Ocean Stars.
Popular figure James Ogoo, who played for the club between 2005 and 2011, turned out for his home nation Gambia on five occasions.
