A-Z: Joe Guest A-Z: Joe Guest

Day ten of our A to Z series and the letter J, is dedicated to former midfielder Joe Guest.

Guest departed the Tameside Stadium in January 2019, in order to pursue a move to National Premier Leagues Victoria side, Oakleigh Cannons, which sees him continue his playing career down under in Melbourne, Australia.

The now 26 year-old made a multitude of key contributions during his four years at the club, having joined in July 2015. The midfielder not only helped the club to the second round of the FA Cup in December 2016, but also scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win over Spennymoor Town, securing the club's sixth tier safety with two games to spare at the tail end of the 2017/18 season.

Across his five seasons with the club, Guest racked up 131 appearances, and scored on 14 occasions. Guest was a popular figure amongst not only his team mates, but the club's supporters and we continue to wish him well with his Australian adventure.

Guest left the club on a high, as his final appearance in a Nash shirt came during a 2-1 win over local rivals Ashton United.

Make sure to check back to the club website tomorrow in order to see what we're giving the letter K to!
