A-Z: Kidderminster Harriers A-Z: Kidderminster Harriers

As we approach the half way point of our A to Z series, we're digging deeper in to the archives, and today the letter K is dedicated to Kidderminster Harriers. Clashes with the Harriers have become somewhat known for late drama.

Our most recent clash with Kiddy in November last year yeilded no such need for late drama, as we coasted past the Reds during a 3-0 FA Trophy first round win. A stunning 25-yard effort from Mike Calveley, coupled with goals from Charlie Jolley and Connor Dimaio sealed a comfortable victory on home soil, setting up a second round trip to AFC Fylde.

One of our more memorable visits to Aggborough came with a late Niall Cummins strike, who in the 89th minute sealed an equaliser after Curzon twice came from behind, first through Matthew Regan and then again through Cummins to deny the Carpetmen three points.

That's not the first time we've left the Harriers frustrated, as Ryan Brooke was on hand to secure a point for the Nash back in August 2018, while later that year in December, Danny Morton's opener was cancelled out by another late strike, this time going the way of Kiddy.

We were set to face Russell Penn's side on the penultimate day of the 2019-20 campaign, but with that now firmly off the cards, we look forward to future visits to Worcestershire.

Make sure to check back to our official website tomorrow to see who or what we're dedicating the letter L to tomorrow!
