Young forward, Aarron Grewal has committed his future to the club for the coming season.
Grewal has progressed through the club's highly successful youth set-up and found himself in and around the first team environment last season under Mark Bradshaw.
The 18-year-old striker is a composed front man and is highly regarded as one of many of the club's exciting prospects. That progression will continue as he remains in the first team fold under Steve Cunningham.
Cunningham was delighted to tie down another of the club's youngsters, and revealed a loan move might be of benefit to Grewal's development.
He said: "Aarron is a product of our successful youth team, and last season was part of a side who went on to play in the FA Youth Cup against Premier League opposition, in Burnley.
"Aarron possesses great qualities as a young striker, he's demonstrated in pre-season training, a real hunger to succeed at this football club, and what he lacks in experience, he certainly doesn't lack in desire and belief.
"He's very much part of the bigger picture for us, he might not be involved in the first-team matchday squad from the outset but as a club, we want to ensure there is a pathway for our best young players and we see that being the case with young Aarron.
"It might be the case that he needs to go out on loan to get some valuable game time and experiences as well as training with us. He's very much part of the club's plans going forward and we look forward to having him with us this season."
It's great to have Aarron signed on and we wish him all the best for the coming season!
