Curzon boss John Flanagan hopes that Adam Morgan can play with a smile on his face and pick up where he left off after returning to to the Tameside Stadium.
The former Liverpool striker made an immediate impact during his first spell at the club, scoring 11 goals in just nine appearances, and Flanagan hopes for a similar impact this time round.
“I’m really pleased that Adam has been able to find his way back to the Tameside Stadium.
“Obviously we were disappointed to lose him last time out, but he went to a big club who made him a great offer and we could not stand in his way. We stayed in touch and had a good relationship.
“We hope he can have the same impact as he had last time, hopefully he can score plenty of goals and we can make him feel loved again.
“We like Adam, we like having him around and seeing his smile - and we can’t wait to reintroduce him to a blue shirt.
Morgan played a key role in the club’s run to 2016/17 Emirates FA Cup second round proper, where he scored a hat-trick against League One AFC Wimbledon, and the gaffer hopes to replicate the run this season.
“Obviously as well, the FA Cup is around the corner. Hopefully it is no coincidence that the draw was made and Adam is back through the door!”
This year’s FA Cup campaign kicks off away at Radcliffe FC on Saturday 22 September.
Adam will be available for selection in John Flanagan’s squad for this Saturday’s National League North home clash with Brackley Town at the Tameside Stadium, KO 3pm!
