Guest Departs the Nash Guest Departs the Nash

Curzon Ashton can confirm that midfielder Joe Guest is set to depart the Nash.

After over five seasons with the club, Guest played his final game for the club on Saturday, in an away win at local rivals Ashton United.

Speaking on his departure, Joe said;

" I would like to thank everybody involved at Curzon Ashton both past and present.

"I have really enjoyed my football over the past five seasons and I'm extremely excited for the next challenge in my career.

"I will be continuing my football journey in Melbourne, Australia.

"After considering my options and speaking to my family and friends I came to the decision that this was an offer I simply couldn't turn down and I'm looking forward to making the move in the new year.

"I have made some memories and friends at Curzon that I will never forget and it has been a privilege to represent and captain the club on a number of occasions.

"I would like to wish the club the very best of luck in the future."

Everyone at the club would like to take this opportunity to thank Joe for all his hard work and efforts over the last five years, in which he has been an integral part of the team.

He will be extremely missed both on and off the pitch and we wish him the very best on his move and the next chapter of his career.
