Curzon midfielder, Robbie Evans revealed he has seen plenty of positives from Steve Cunningham's side during pre-season, as he looks ahead to the new campaign.
Welshman, Evans agreed a new deal with the club for the coming season following Cunningham's arrival and is hoping to make the 2020/21 National League North campaign, a record breaking one for the club.
He said: "Steve has been brilliant with me since he's come in, and that's one of the main reasons why I agreed to stay on for another year.
"His style of play, and his enthusiasm for the game suits me down to the ground and I can’t wait for a successful season with the Nash, under him."
Evans has been impressed with the signs his side are showing so far, as preparations for the new season move up a gear.
He added: "It’s always hard when a new team gets together, as we haven’t had long to gel. In the games we've played, I can see things coming along nicely, we look solid at the back and always look a threat going forward.
"In training the standard is up there, everyone demands 100% from each other, and that’s the minimum we expect this season."
Evans, who suffered an injury last season, hopes to get through the year unscathed, while steering the Nash into the top half of the table.
He said: "For me personally, I want this to be an injury free season, no broken bones!
"Hopefully we can get a good start to the season and my aim is to earn my place for every game. Maybe even add a few goals along the way, and most importantly, achieve Curzon’s highest ever finish in the National League North".
