Curzon Ashton are delighted to announce the signing of winger Aaron Dwyer from Stockport Town.
Twenty-one-year-old Dwyer joins the club having caught the eye of manager John Flanagan with several impressive performances for the North West Counties League side.
A strong and quick attacker who likes to run in behind, Aaron signed for neighbours Mossley in the summer, but re-joined the Lions after making only a handful of appearances at Seel Park.
John Flanagan, on the signing of Dwyer, said: “We’re really pleased to have signed Aaron. He’s a bit of a rough diamond but I’ve got really high hopes for him. He’s a determined, pacy wide player who’s got a an eye for a goal and is also an option for us up front.
“He likes to go in behind and we haven’t had enough of that this season. I’ve no doubt it will take him a few weeks to pick up the level, but I’ve seen enough in training already to make me believe we’ve got an excellent player.”
Everybody at Curzon would like to extend a warm welcome to Aaron and wish him well with his time the club!
