John is entering his sixth season as manager and has already become the club's most successful boss in history, guiding the club to two promotions, a separate runner-up finish, a losing play-off final and two other cup finals. Formerly manager of Mossley and Woodley Sports.
'Nev' is loud, proud and passionate about Curzon. The club earned promotion in both of his first two seasons as John's Number 2. A perfect foil for the manager's calmer style on the touchline. Formerly an assistant with New Mills and Woodley Sports.
Mark commenced his football career at Blackpool where he made 94 first team appearances. He moved to Stafford Rangers in 1991 and then to the Moss Rose towards the end of the 1994-95 season for a fee of £5,000 as a replacement for Stuart Bimson. Usually used in his preferred position of left-back, Mark could equally well fill a midfield berth, always solid in the tackle and forged forward at every opportunity. He was part of the 1996-97 Conference Championship winning side, gained a winners' medal in the Staffordshire Senior Cup in 1997 and held an England semi-professional cap.
On leaving Macclesfield Mark played for Halifax Town, Droysden, Mossley, Woodley Sports where he was the reserve team manager, and Curzon Ashton. From 2008-2010 he was the manager of the Curzon Ashton Ladies' team after which he became their Development manager and has also worked for Tameside Sports Trust. Mark is now football development manager at Curzon Ashton FC.
