Cam Mason is the Nash’s longest serving player and current number one. Since joining the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2014, the 24-year-old has gone on to amass over 150 appearances for Curzon. As a youth he played for Oldham Athletic, before joining Chesterfield in July 2013. Whilst he was at the Spireites, Mason spent a short-term loan with Stockport before joining the Nash the following summer. His reputation at this level is high, shown by his inclusion in the England C squad in March 2020 – however a chance of a debut for his country was scuppered by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Another new face at the Tameside for the coming season, Noah Stokes signed for the Nash following his release from League Two outfit Mansfield Town. The Australian defender started his football journey back in Australia for New South Wales side Bangalow Bluedogs. In May 2019, the 18-year-old signed a professional contract with Mansfield and played for their under 23s in their preseason tour of Portugal. However, in July 2019 Stokes suffered a serious knee injury that kept him side-lined for a significant period of last season.
