A penalty from Tom Walker and a double from the captain Jimmy Spencer saw The Nash take all three points back to Ashton.
Curzon started the game slowly with Radcliffe dominating the early stages. 11 minutes in the first chance of the game arrived through Radcliffe’s Tom Walker, he cut inside on his left foot and his low driven shot was saved by Bobby Jones.
The next chance of the half arrived this time going to The Nash as Isaac Sinclair sent a cross towards Stefan Mols but his first time shot was saved by Hewelt in goal.
Midway through the first half, Radcliffe created another chance to go in front as the Tom Walker had a shot from just outside the box however it was safely collected by Bobby Jones in goal.
Into the latter stages of the first half The Nash had a great chance to go in front through William Hayhurst, he had the ball outside of the box and his long range effort was just tipped over the bar from Mateusz Hewelt.
Just before the half time whistle a great chance fell to Isaac Buckley-Ricketts as Stefan Mols ran into the box and squared the ball to Isaac who miskicked the ball.
Half time arrived as The Nash had the better chances to go in front but failed to capitalize as Radcliffe were still in the game.

Curzon started the second half as they started the first with Radcliffe having the first chance of the half through Danny Greenfield. Greenfield ran through Curzon’s midfield and defence as his shot was brilliantly saved by Bobby Jones in goal.
Shortly after this, The Nash had a chance to go in front as Stefan Mols beat two Radcliffe defenders brilliantly but his shot was blocked as were many others as Radcliffe bodies were flying everywhere to try and stop the Nash from going in front.
A minute later a massive turning point in the game arrived as Brad Jackson received a second yellow card for his challenge on William Hayhurst. Just four minutes later Curzon went ahead through the captain Jimmy Spencer, Isaac Buckley-Ricketts had the ball on the left hand side and passed it to Jimmy as he fired his long range effort into the right hand side of the net for his 8th goal of the season.
However, three minutes later Radcliffe had a penalty as Timi Sobowale brought down Jordan Hulme inside the box. Tom Walker stepped up and slotted his right footed pen into the bottom left corner.
As the second half went on many feisty challenges were going in from both teams in this Manchester Derby clash. Curzon were starting to create chances against the ten men opposition as Isaac Sinclair’s shot from the right hand side of the box was brilliantly saved by Mateusz Hewelt in Radcliffe’s goal.
With ten minutes left Bobby Jones gave the ball away to Radcliffe’s captain Jordan Hulme, his first shot was blocked by Marcus Poscha and his follow up went just wide of the post.
Curzon went down the other end and doubled their lead through the captain again Jimmy Spencer. Substitute Connor Falls ran down the left hand side as other substitute Luis Lacey’s shot hit off the post and fell to the captain who smashed his shot into the net for his 9th goal of the season.

This result moves Curzon one point away from the play off positions as they look to carry on this winning run throughout March, starting with fellow promotion rivals Chorley at the Tameside Stadium on Tuesday night.
