The first half began with Alfreton having the first chance as Jed Abbey had a freekick from just outside the box with his shot hitting the post. 6 minutes later, Isaac Buckley-Ricketts ran down the left hand side cutting inside into the box with his left footed shot just curling past the post. 22 minutes in, Isaac Buckley-Ricketts was involved again as his with his curling effort was saved by George Sykes-Kenworthy.
As the half hour mark arrived, The Nash had another chance as Stefan Mols was played in behind Alfreton’s defence his cross picked out captain, Jimmy Spencer who saw his first time effort go just over the bar. 6 minutes later, Alfreton had a chance to go in front as Liam Waldock received the ball just outside the box with his shot being blocked. Shortly before half time, Alfreton had another chance as Jed Abbey had the ball outside the box with his shot going wide of the post.
Half time arrived with The Nash creating chances but failing to take them with them needing vital points in the race for the play off places.

The second half began with Curzon having the first chance of the half as Isaac Buckley-Ricketts crossed the ball across the face of the goal with no one in blue being able to connect with it. 2 minutes later, The Nash were in again as Poscha played the ball over the top of Alfreton’s defence as Spencer brought the ball down and his shot went just over the bar.
With an hour on the clock, Alfreton had a chance through Jed Abbey as he ran down the right hand side and crossed it to substitute George Cantrell’s whose shot went wide of the post.
Into the final 15 minutes Isaac Buckley-Ricketts was in again as he squared the ball across the box to Jimmy Spencer as his shot was blocked.
Into the final minute of 4 minutes added on and The Nash had a great chance to score the winner as Isaac Buckley-Ricketts was involved again, he ran down the left hand side, cut inside and found Michael Afuye at the back post with his shot going over the bar.
The Nash failed to win whilst creating an abundance of chances with 2 points dropped in the race for the playoffs.
