An own goal from Timi Sobowale and a header from Adam Barton saw the points shared.


Curzon started this crucial game poorly as Ewan Williams’ shot from inside the area was saved by Bobby Jones. 2 minutes later, Leamington were in again as Henry Landers’ freekick found Owen Farmer whose header was saved by Bobby.

The Nash had their first chance of the game 10 minutes in, as Isaac Buckley-Ricketts crossed the ball to Jimmy Spencer whose shot went just wide of the post. Curzon had another chance just minutes lasted as Spencer picked the ball up just outside of the box as his curling long range effort was saved by Hawkins in the Leamington goal.

Midway through the first half, Adam Barton crossed the ball into the box as Isaac Buckley-Ricketts shot hit the crossbar. Buckley-Ricketts was involved again as he whipped a cross into the box with Sobowale’s shot being amazingly saved by Hawkins. Shortly before the end of the first half, Isaac Sinclair crossed the ball into the box with Alex Curran’s header going just wide of the post.

The half time whistle arrived with The Nash creating chances to go in front but failing to take them in this crucial final game of the season.

The Nash started the second half brightly, from kick off Adam Barton had the ball just outside the box as his shot went just wide of the near post.

On the hour mark Jordan Richards whipped a great cross into the box as Stefan Mols’ header hit the post. Richards was involved again as his cross found Stefan Mols’ with his header this time going just wide of the post. The 70th minute arrived with Isaac Buckley-Ricketts playing the ball across the box with Poscha’s shot being cleared off the line and Spencer’s follow up shot going over the bar.

With 15 minutes remaining, Leamington went in front through a Timi Sobowale own goal.

The 90th minute arrived with the referee awarding 6 minutes of added time.

Into the 91st minute The Nash were level through Adam Barton’s powerful header. Just before the full time whistle Curzon had the chance to go in front and secure a place in the playoffs as Adam Barton’s knocked down header found Isaac Buckley-Ricketts with his shot going just over the bar.

The full time whistle arrived with Curzon ending the season with a draw.
