Since signing for The Nash in 2021 from Farsley Celtic, Barton has earnt himself a place in the top 40 all time appearances, having featured over 180 times for the club.

A fan favourite at the Tameside Stadium, Barton is a versatile midfielder having played an integral part in the Nash’s treble of FA Cup first round qualifications & play-off campaign in 2023 and scoring 3 goals in his last two appearances last season in which The Nash narrowly missed out on the play-offs.
