The Nash started the game slow as Leo Duru drove through Curzon’s midfield giving the ball to Joe Broggan with his shot easily saved by Hawkins. 15 minutes in, The Nash had a great opportunity to go in front as Trialist played Alex Curran through on goal as he laid the ball off to Brad Holmes who failed to convert. Just after the half an hour mark Brad Holmes is played in on the right hand side as his shot was saved from Jack Barrett.
The 35th minute arrived, Curzon went in front through Joel Amado. The corner was whipped in from the right hand side as it missed Chris Stokes’ head and Amado smashed the ball into the net. Just before the half time whistle, The Nash doubled their lead through Trialist. Crispin Mclean played in Brad Holmes down the left hand side with his saved shot falling at the feet of the Trialist who smashed it into the net.
The Nash comfortably led at half time with them totally dominating the game.

The Nash started the second half brilliantly as Curran played the ball to Holmes whose effort went over the bar. Just past the hour mark, Blackburn had an opportunity to get back into the game as Sobowale’s pass was pounced upon by Broggan who took it past Hawkins but Poscha was there to clear the ball away. Into the 71st minute, The Nash had their third through Joe Rodwell-Grant as he dribbled past multiple Blackburn defenders before lifting his effort over the keeper and into the bottom right corner.
With 10 minutes remaining, Blackburn had chances to grab a consolation goal. Poscha gave the ball away to a Blackburn Trialist who found Doherty however his effort was fantastically saved by Hawkins. With 2 minutes left, Blackburn had another chance as Trialist had the ball on the right hand side with his shot hitting the side netting.
The full time whistle blew with The Nash coming out victorious.
