The Nash started the game brightly having their first opportunity only three minutes into the game when Alex Curran sent the ball out wide to Crispin McLean who cut inside onto his right foot but his shot went wide of the post.

Seven minutes later, Curran was involved again, when Curzon Captain Marcus Poscha picked him out with a long ball over the top, with his shot consequently going wide.

Telford had their first chance of the game in the thirteenth minute as Rhys Hilton received the ball, drove forward and shifted the ball onto his right foot however his shot was ultimately saved by Hawkins in the Curzon net.

20 minutes into the game Curzon had another good chance to open the scoring as Jack Stafford had the ball out wide on the left hand side with his cross finding Barton whose shot was easily saved by Brooks.

With half an hour gone both teams were still looking for the decisive opener – the first opportunity fell to Matthew Stenson and Telford, as the forward was played in behind the Curzon defence, with his shot ultimately going over the bar.

However, just before the half time whistle, The Nash had the chance to go into half time in front with Curran cutting onto his right foot inside the area with his shot being defended and cleared by Telford.

Half time arrived with the scores level.

HT 0-0

The second half began with Curzon on the front foot and creating the first chance only two minutes in. Crispin McLean went past multiple Telford defenders as he sent the ball into Adam Barton whose swivelled shot went wide of the post.

Just before the hour mark Telford had a chance to go in front as Aliama Lawal tried his luck from range with Hawkins tipping his effort away for a corner.

20 minutes into the second half, both teams were still looking for that bit of quality to unlock the door. With 70 minutes on the clock, head coach Mark Bradshaw had the chance to speak with his team as the referee signalled for a drinks break.

As the water break concluded and the game resumed Bradshaw made his first change of the game with the introduction of Jack Stobbs on the 72nd minute, replacing Rodwell-Grant.

With 15 minutes left, Telford had two chances to go in front both involving Dylan Allen-Hadley, however both of the Telford forwards chances were fantastically saved by Curzon number one, Callum Hawkins.

Mark Bradshaw made a double change on the 80th minute with Crispin Mclean and Jack Stafford making way for Timi Sobowale and Ben Darby.

The latter made an instant impact opening the scoring only five minutes later when The Nash went in front through Ben Darby!

Sobowale won possession of the ball and sent it to Jack Stobbs who received it on the left hand side, he fired his cross into the box where Ben Darby was waiting and placed his header into the corner of the goal.

However, with five minutes of added time Telford equaled the score through Orrin Pendley in the 90+3 minute.

The game ended with the points having to be shared.
