Walking Football
We’ve been ‘running’ Walking Football sessions here at The Tameside Stadium for a number of years, with two sessions a week attended by players over the age of 50 years old.
We’ve recently formed an over 65s Walking Football team, who compete once a month in the Over 65s League of the Greater Manchester Walking Football League, which takes place once a month (March-June & Sep-Dec) up at Heywood Sports Village.

We’re always up for friendly fixtures, having hosted Rochdale AFC, Wythenshawe FC, Moston Brook FC, Bury Relics amongst others and have visited Stockport County FC on a few occasions.
