Good Friday’s 0-0 draw at home to Alfreton was a huge setback in Curzon’s race for play offs.

With two games remaining Craig Mahon’s side know that it is not in their hands meaning a win against Farsley and Leamington on the final day is crucial if the Nash want to keep any hopes of reaching the National League next season alive.

Buxton’s win at Chorley on Friday, a massive victory for King’s Lynn at home to Scunthorpe & Hereford also claiming three points against Leamington means that the Nash sit outside the play off places.

Kidderminster lead the way from Brackley on goal difference with both on 86 points with Scunthorpe following in 3rd and 2 points behind. Chester confirmed their play off place with a victory at Southport on Friday and sit in 4th on 81 points. Hereford and King’s Lynn are on 76 points while Buxton complete the last play off place on 74. Chorley and Curzon complete the chasing pack on 73.

Monday’s fixtures include Alfreton v Buxton, Chester v Marine, Chorley v Radcliffe, Scunthorpe v Peterborough Sports, Brackley travelling to Leamington, King’s Lynn at already relegated Needham Market and the huge game seeing Kidderminster host Hereford.
