Preview by Sol Finnon

Curzon look to bounce back after Sunday’s 4-0 defeat to Mansfield which saw The Nash bow out of the FA Cup first round. Albeit a disappointing result on Sunday, Curzon are still flying in the league after two consecutive victories against Scarborough and Chester respectively. Recent league form sees Curzon in fourth with two games in hand over first, second and third. A win would level our point tally with the teams above us, setting the scene for a competitive second third of the season.

The Harriers have had the better of Curzon in the previous encounters between the two sides, with Curzon only winning 2 of 14 meetings, whilst Kidderminster have won 8. The disparity in historic performance between the two sides gives Curzon added motivation to get one over The Harriers in tonight’s fixture. The combined encouragement of defying history and continuing our flight at the top end of the table provide us with excitement for tonight’s fixture.

Curzon Ashton

  • Curzon player, Isaac Sinclair, is set to make his 100th appearance for the club against Kidderminster on Wednesday.
  • Curzon keeper, Bobby Jones, won Curzon Ashton fans player of the month for the month of October, after keeping 4 clean sheets in 5 games for The Nash.
  • A win would take Curzon 7 points clear of Kidderminster, whilst having a game in hand.
  • Curzon last defeated Kidderminster on the 16th August 2022, in a 2-1 victory.

Kidderminster Harriers

  • Winger, Ashley Hemmings, has 5 in 13 for The Harriers, making him one to watch out for
  • Kidderminster were relegated from the National League last campaign after finishing 22nd.
  • Kidderminster once beat Curzon 6-1 in 2016. A result Curzon will be confident to avoid this time around.
  • Kidderminster have played at their stadium, The Aggborough Stadium, since 1886.
