Match preview by Leon Higgins

Following 4 points on the road this week, Curzon return home to take on Rushall Olympic.

Tuesday’s 5-0 win at Oxford kept the pressure on at the top of the league, with all the teams above the Nash winning expect Brackley Town vs Kidderminster Harriers which was postponed.

With FA Trophy action this weekend only 2 of the other promotion chasing teams play, with top of the table Chester travelling to Peterborough Sports and Brackley going to Hereford.

At the other end of the table Rushall Olympic currently sit in the relegation zone but come into this clash 5th in the form table of the last 5 games. With only Chester, Brackley, Peterborough Sports and Scunthorpe boasting a better record, the recent results of The Pics have boasted their survival chances.

Their last 5 games have included victories against Leamington, a huge shock win against Scunthorpe United, with a 0-0 draw against King’s Lynn last time out with 2 losses also coming in that run with a 7-0 loss against Spennymoor and a penalty defeat to Coleshill Town in the Walsall Senior Cup.

Currently sitting 22nd in the league table but with a worse goal difference than Radcliffe and Warrington who sit just above the drop, Rushall knows every point counts.
