Curzon go into this one after defeat at home against Hereford, once again Curzon not being able to take their limited chances against the clinical Hereford team. The defeat saw Curzon slip to 5th in the table.
They will also review the fitness of Adam Barton who missed out on Saturday. He is someone who on his last 2 visits to see the Flamingo Land has scored, including a 94th minute winner back in April 2023.
Curzon have also been strong away from The Tameside, winning 4 out of their 5 in the league, and who doesn’t love a trip to the seaside!
After their last home defeat earlier in the season against Scunthorpe, Curzon went on a 7 game unbeaten run including the game straight after winning away from home against Kings Lynn, could history repeat itself on this Tuesday night?
Scarborough (The Seadogs) also head into this one after a defeat at home, losing 2-1 to Southport, this also ended Scarborough’s own unbeaten run of 8 games.
They currently find themselves 12th in the table with 16 points from 11 games, which is 4 points behind The Nash. Despite the difference in league positions, the two sides have the same goal difference which should provide for a cagey clash.
On their last trip to see the “seaside”, Curzon did defeat The Seadogs 2-0, the aforementioned Adam Barton and Manager Craig Mahon being the scorers for The Nash.
Time for the magic word – bounce-back-ability?
