Goals from Alex Curran and Tony Weston cancelled out goals from Daniel Ogunleye and Sam Brown for Bedford.
The Nash started the game strong as Crispin McLean crossed in a brilliant freekick as it found the captain Jimmy Spencer whose header was tipped over the bar for a corner.
Bedford had their first chance of the game five minutes in as Harry Hawkins’ shot outside the box went wide, followed only minutes later by a chance from Ellis Brown who was in behind Curzon’s defence and cut onto his right foot with his shot ultimately going wide of the Curzon goal.
With 14 minutes on the clock The Nash went in front through Alex Curran. Jimmy Spencer’s long shot was spilled by Ansen in the Bedford goal and Curran reacted the quickest, tapping it into the net.
After Curzon went ahead, Bedford piled on the pressure as they had many long throw-ins and crosses into the box which The Nash were able to deal with.
However, in the 37th minute Curzon began to put pressure on Bedford as new signing Chibuike Ezennolim ran down the left hand side beating two Bedford defenders with his cross into the box hitting the side netting.
Shortly before the half time whistle, Bedford equalised through their top goalscorer Tyrone Marsh.
The Nash went into the break level after the agonising equaliser just before the break.
HT 1-1
The second half began with Mark Bradshaw making a change as Jack Stobbs came on to replace Crispin McLean.
In the 49th minute, Brad Holmes was in behind Bedford’s defence as his shot was saved by Ansen.
Bedford then went on the counterattack as only one minute later Edward Gyamfi had a shot outside the box for The Eagles which went wide.
In the 53rd minute, Bradshaw made another change as Tony Weston came on to replace Alex Curran.
Just before the hour mark Brad Holmes was released in behind Bedford’s defence however his shot was saved by Ansen.
Bedford then took the lead and doubled their score through winger Ellis Brown.
From kick off Curzon went down the other end as Tony Weston was in down the right hand side with his cross come shot not finding anyone in the box and going out of play, for a goal kick for Bedford.
On 52 minutes Bradshaw made his second substitution as Alec Curran made was for Tony Weston.
In the 64th minute, substitute Tony Weston equalised for The Nash. Brad Holmes misjudged his shot as it fell to Tony Weston who scored his first competitive goal of his footballing career.
Mark Bradshaw made another substitution as Joe Rodwell-Grant replaced Brad Holmes on the 72nd minute, with Jack Stafford coming on for Chibuike Ezennolim five minutes later as Bradshaw made his final change.
With less than 10 minutes remaining Bedford had a chance through goalscorer Ellis Brown as his shot inside the box went wide.
Into three minutes of added time, Curzon had two great chances to win the game as Jimmy Spencer found himself in behind Bedford’s defence as his attempted chip shot went just wide.
In the last minute of the game Tony Weston had a shot on goal that was spilled by Ansen in the Bedford net however the ball managed to not fall at the feet of a Curzon player and the game ended with Curzon having to settle for a point.

The Nash will look to start an FA Cup run next Saturday as they host Hebburn Town at the Tameside Stadium next Saturday afternoon.
