There wasn’t much to report in the first half with both sides canceling each other out, with chances few and far between the two teams headed into the break all square.

HT 0-0

With no changes for either side at half-time, both teams emerged looking to break the deadlock.

The first goal came only 5 minutes into the second half when Stefan Mols rounded the keeper and fired home to put the Nash 1-0 up.

Less than 10 minutes later, Chorley defender, Scott Wilson was sent off for a poorly timed, dangerous tackle on Mols. It didn’t take long for Curzon to capitalize on the man advantage, doubling their lead through captain, Jimmy Spencer on the 64th minute.

To conclude a dominant second-half performance by Mahon’s men, Isaac Sinclair put the game to bed, scoring the third goal of the afternoon in the 72nd minute, sealing all three points.

FT 0-3

A solid performance and another clean sheet added to our tally for this season and cemented our place in top spot, both overall and away form.

Join us on Saturday, as we are on the road once again with a trip to local side Warrington Town, in the Vanarama National League North.
