A goal from debutant Brad Holmes and Miro Pais equalised for Leamington.

The Nash started the game brightly with Crispin Mclean crossing a dangerous ball into the box as Adam Barton headed the ball back across goal but no one was there to meet it. 15 minutes in, Leamington had their first chance of the game as Daniel Meredith crossed the ball into the box, finding Owen Farmer as his shot was cleared by captain Marcus Poscha. On the 21st minute Owen Farmer was in again for Leamington as his shot went wide past a fully stretched Callum Hawkins.
25 minutes in, Tony Weston was in behind Leamington’s defence as his looping deflected shot was caught by Edward Brearey. On the half hour mark debutant Brad Holmes cut in from the left hand side but his tame shot was saved by Brearey, minutes later the Nash went close to opening the scoring, as Joel Amado crossed a ball into the box with Adam Barton getting onto the end of it with his header being saved.
Half time arrived with The Nash creating chances to go in front but it was still 0-0.

The second half began with The Nash starting slow with Leamington having the first chance of the half as Daniel Meredith’s shot from outside of the box went just wide. Into the 63rd minute, The Nash went in front through debutant Brad Holmes, the ball fell to him from a cross by Crispin Mclean on the left hand side as he calmly passed the ball into the net inside the six yard box. However, 4 minutes later Leamington equalised through Miro Pais.
With 10 minutes left, Curzon had two great chances to go in front. Tony Weston crossed the ball to Adam Barton whose shot was saved and it fell to Bradley Holmes whose shot was also somehow saved by Edward Brearey.
The full time whistle blew with Curzon having to take a point from the opening National League North game of the 2025/26 season.
