Goals from Tony Weston and Ben Darby saw the three points return for The Nash.
Curzon started the game well as in the 4th minute, Tony Weston opened the scoring for The Nash when Ben Darby passed it to Tony who slotted the ball home at the back post for his fourth goal of the season. Curzon continued to pressure Oxford as in the 11th minute, Ben Darby released Chibuike Ezennolim into the box as his shot goes over the bar.
With 15 minutes on the clock the referee paused the game due to a kit clash & Oxford changed their shirts and emerged wearing their red away kit.
From the restart Alex Curran crossed the ball into the box finding Tony Weston with his shot going just wide.
On the 24th minute, Oxford had their first opportunity of the game as Tom Scott’s shot from outside the box went wide.
Joel Amado received the first card of the game for Curzon when he entered the referees book on the half hour mark.
With thirty minutes on the clock Oxford had a chance to equalise through Tom Scott, however, his shot was intercepted brilliantly by Marcus Poscha.
With 10 minutes of the first half remaining, Curzon were still pushing to double their lead, Alex Curran went close when his 40th minute shot was blocked on the line by Byron Wilson.
Half time arrived with The Nash going into the break 1-0 up.

The second half began with Curzon having back-to-back corners which ultimately came to nothing.
A 52nd minute goal from Ewan Clark saw Oxford City equal the scoring, following their equaliser Oxford began to build some pressure but Josh Ashby’s longshot was comfortably saved by Callum Hawkins.
Curzon began to build pressure looking for their second goal, just past the hour mark Jack Stobbs’ dangerous cross was caught by Sam Lewis in the Oxford net.
Into the 70th minute and Curzon were still dominating proceedings getting corners and freekicks but they came to nothing.
With just over 10 minutes left on the clock The Nash went back in front through Ben Darby, who scored his second goal of the season. Alex Curran’s shot was saved as it fell to Ben who headed it into the net.
Following the goal Mark Bradshaw made his first, and only, substitution of the game, when Brad Holmes came on to replace Alex Curran.
The game reached the 90th minute with the referee awarding 5 minutes of added time, with The Nash holding on to claim the victory and take away all three points.
