The Nash started the first half well as inside 3 minutes the ball fell to Adam Barton just outside the area with his shot going just wide of the post. 15 minutes in, the Sedge’s first chance of the game appeared as the ball was lashed across the face of goal with Liversedge’s number 9 hitting the post.
Into the 25th minute, The Nash had there second chance of the first half as Ben Darby found new signing Jack Stafford who turned and found Alex Curran whose effort was saved by Sedge’s keeper.

The second half began with The Nash fielding a new starting 11.
On the 57th minute mark, Curzon had the first chance of the half as, Adam Barton picked the ball up in midfield and drove into Liversedge’s box with his shot being saved. The 60th minute arrived with new signing Joe Rodwell-Grant coning close to an opener with his half volley attempt from inside the area going just past the post.
With 20 minutes left to go, Curzon had another chance as Trialist (A) smashed his shot wide of the post. 72 minutes gone, Ben Darby played the ball into Joe Rodwell-Grant as he beat his defender with his curling effort going just over the bar.
The full time whistle arrived with The Nash drawing 0-0.
The Nash will now look forward to a trip to Spain where a 4 day warm weather training camp awaits as well as another pre-season fixture against Wigan Athletic.
