Goals from the captain Jimmy Spencer and Stefan Mols saw them take all three points after Alex Wiles put Scarborough ahead.
The game began with Curzon having the first chance of the game through Jordan Richards as he ran down the right hand side, whipped a great cross into Stefan Mols whose shot was claimed by Whitley. Scarborough then began to grow into the game with them having back to back freekicks however they both landed in the hands of Bobby Jones.
Midway through the first half The Nash had a chance to break the deadlock through Isaac Sinclair, William Hayhurst played the ball over Scarborough’s defence as Sinclair’s first time volley was comfortably saved by Ryan Whitley.
Shortly after, Scarborough went down the other end and had a massive chance to go in front as Harry Green danced his way through Curzon’s defence but blasted his shot over. A couple of minutes later The Nash had a great opportunity to go in front through new signing Alex Curran as Curzon took a short corner and smashed his long range shot off the right post. Another glorious opportunity arose for Curzon as Isaac Buckley-Ricketts ran down the right hand side and whipped a great ball to Isaac Sinclair whose header was smashed over the bar from a few yards out.
The first half came to an end as The Nash created great opportunities to go in front but were lacking the cutting edge in front of goal.
