Jordan Richards – Sponsored by Barry Thickett
Ever dependable Richards has had a fantastic November. Despite defeats in the cup competitions, Richards stepped up when Curzon were down to 10 against Mansfield and filled in at centre back.
He also continues to communicate though out the match, sharing his experience with the team, especially the younger team members and has been defensively solid in the strong back line that provided clean sheets against Spennymoor, Marine, Southport and Chorley through November.
Isaac Sinclair – Sponsored by Curzon Ashton U12s
Yet another month where Sinclair has displayed both attacking and defensive output.
As part of the 3 in midfield alongside Barton and Griffiths he is the one that pushes forward and gets the headlines. However this month he has had to show discipline when both Griffiths and Jimmy Spencer have been missing as the 3 up front have altered meaning Sinclair then plays a more box to box role with Mols or IBR filling in at 10.
His finishing continues to improve and this month put the nail in the coffin of Chorley to make it 3-0.
Stefan Mols – Sponsored by Martin Fitzgerald
Another player who each month provides guaranteed output for the team.
Mols is another who has had to adapt with Jimmy Spencer out of the team, but he once again steps up with endless running and to top it off goals (Its what the song says! “Stefan Mols… He scores goals”).
This month a penalty against Marine and the first against Chorley to take Curzon top of the league and his personal tally to 10 goals in 22 starts.
Jimmy Spencer – Sponsored by Kieran Kozyra
Not often will a player only make it through 3 games in a month and be up for the best player in it, but since returning to the side, Jimmy has shown exactly what he means to Curzon Ashton.
Spencer’s leadership and experience is vital in tight games, but his work rate and hold up play is ranked among the best in the league and each week he provides a fantastic out ball for The Nash. After not scoring since August, Spencer has provided vital goals against Chorley and also the winner with a flicked header against Southport.
