Another game, another loss for Craig Mahon’s Curzon Ashton as Mark Beesley gets revenge on the Tameside club with a flourish.

First-Half
An early mistake from the hosts paved the way for the first chance of the game as a George Waring tackle lands outside the box for Jay Harris to hit but well-over Cam Mason’s net. The visitors would continue to apply pressure on the Nash backline as Isaac Buckley-Ricketts picked up a loose ball on the edge, shooting with minimal power into the hands of Cam Mason. The Yellows really got a feel of their opponent’s goal as this time Conor Woods drove forward, seeing his effort roll slowly past the post.
Not sitting idly by, the hosts had their first chance as Isaac Sinclair picked up the ball from Will Hayhurst on the left-side of the box, bending an effort just over the top-right corner. Isaac Sinclair would have another attempt soon after as he drove through the heart of midfield, striking wide of Dan Atherton’s left-hand post. Despite the rise in chances for the Nash, it would be the visitors who took the lead as a Will Hayhurst challenge on Conor Woods deflects into the path of dangerman Isaac Buckley-Ricketts, who makes no mistake finding the bottom-left corner, 1-0. Kacper Pasiak made a rare venture forward, picking up a layoff by Isaac Buckley-Ricketts from just outside the area, striking an effort which bounced just past the far post. The away contingent of Warrington Town fans was in fine voice & were set to get louder as Conor Woods picked up a loose ball halfway through the Nash half, weaving between three defenders & slotting an effort past Cam Mason into the bottom-left corner, 2-0. Jimmy Spencer would attempt to respond for the home side as he took aim from range, easily caught by Dan Atherton.

Second-Half
The Yellows started the second forty-five as they did the first, with Conor Woods latching onto a ball in midfield, driving an effort which bent only millimetres wide of Cam Mason’s post. Jay Harris would have the next opportunity for Warrington Town as he hit from range, initially spilled by Cam Mason but cleared by Rhys Hughes. The Nash would finally make some incision into the opposition box as George Waring meets a Jordan Richards out swinging cross but could not formulate enough power to trouble Dan Atherton. The visitors would soon make it three as Isaac Buckley-Ricketts was given the freedom of Ashton-under-Lyne by Jay Harris, slotting the ball underneath the onrushing Cam Mason, 3-0.
